What an excellent set! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: Since we reside in the same general part of the state I am wondering if these were taken at a nature preserve? The one closest to me is quite dry and does not have as many birds as it has in the past.

A good series of photographs, all nicely composed, particularly like the ones of the Bittern, not an easy bird to photograph.

These were taken at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area West of Sacramento. It is in Davis, CA. Not a lot of Birds there this year as there wasn't much water.

Thanks. I was happy to see the bittern as well. As you say, they are not the easiest to find or shoot.
