I live by society's rules 99% of the time but that 1% naughty  girl has to come out once in a while. If something happens to me on the bike so be it...I will go out living... I know all the horror stories. Thank you.

It's called individual freedom and liberty, something we are losing daily. Good for you to exercise it without apologizing.

When I was riding, I made it a point to wear all the safety equipment I could, regardless of state laws. I once went down in a curve, and every piece of safety equipment I was wearing was damaged - helmet, face shield, gloves, boots, and riding suit. I was fine, and the damage to the Gold Wing was just cosmetic. I was able to ride it home.

I am glad you came out OK. and you were able to be here to tell your story.

I understand and we are all entitled to our point's of view. Personally I couldn't wear all that stuff I think I would pass out from heat exhaustion and I don't even like it when I have to wear a face mask in winter because I think hampers my vision.

I like being out in the open free to feel the wind and see un-restricted.

Like I say it's all a matter of opinion and I don't disregard yours but at the same time I would like the same respect. I ride with the boys, I keep up, and don't whine. Yet, I still manage to maintain my femininity. :-D and they love that about me.

OK, folks . . . is the name of the color "purple" or "violet"?

Might as well make this thread a REAL waste of bandwidth!
;) :P

I'm all done with this thread. I'm too much establishment and you're too much I'll do it my way, neither of us will change. The only thing I hope is that when you said that you've heard all the horror stories, is that you don't have to add your own. Sorry about the gender snaffu. I apologize. Don't make your hubby a widower, better.

This thread started out as 'Canon and Nikon users show your support ... please'. Look where it has wondered off to.

The poor guy is still waiting for his answers.

Anyone with a half a brain knows it's neither. The correct answer is periwinkle.

What the heck? I was second on this thread of Nikon v Canon, left to take a leak and when I come back its about seat belts on motorcycles.

I started with Canon and ended with Nikon and have nothing bad to say about either. But I'll be darned if I'm gonna drive with my lights off. Heck I could run over a whole slew of Canonnites who have lost their way.

I don't care if you have a Canon, a Nikon, a Harley or a Honda.
I don't care if your brother now goes by the name of "Rhonda".

All the "stuff" in the world won't make you better or happy.
Love is all there is, I'll stop now before this gets sappy.

Thank you, Thank you very much..*Christy has left the building*

lets see, in todays world an electro mechanical device that can capture the surface of ones skin, but not its depth. An amuseing or sad and deadly moment. the recording of historic sites as well as the evolution and current depiction of todays events being played out. Requireing some knowledge, skill and a good helping of luck, the camera has been and always will be a remarkable device, but It can't gauge a sense of humour.

Lighten up Jim, It is not serious...it is just fun. Anyone who thinks this is serious stuff...Nikon or Cannon users..you should be ashamed.

At the end of the day...What we use is simply a matter of choice. If I really had mine, I'd be shooting a Hassleblad.

So now...where is that appology?

JJ

Yeah I agree :thumbup:this has been one of the most exciting and fun posts I have participated in. Usually I am being complementary to people or asking a question. I needed the refreshing break once in awhile just to laugh. I feel sorry for those who can't laugh or understand the context of this thread.

Work gets slow and it's UHH here I come. Hats' off...... :XD:
