Does Smog have any effect on my white balance setting?
Sometimes the Smog looks like you can cut it with a knife.
Thank you

Diet,
Think about it, if it is that dense, take a photo, see if you can focus on a subject, if you can't what good will WB be?

Depends on the color of the fog. You could just go white
balance and fix it in post processing.THere you can make
it any color you want! Didn't you ever notice some pictures
look like it might rain orange juice?
Oh oh, somebody's gonna nail me for the inacurracy,
i realize you said SMOG,not fog. Sorry. Same principle
applies though

shoot RAW and adjust the WB in post processing to what is pleasing for you. I don't have smog here but i do have fog. Assuming the same you will have to pay a lot attention to focus, sometimes using manual focus. Fog can rick havoc on auto focus. Sometimes a soft focus will add to the dramatic effect.
