Here are some underwater images of the "Icy Finger of Death," a rarely seen underwater occurrence from under the Antarctic ice shelf.

That was nice and something I never knew happened. And yes - it does make one wonder how ANYTHING can live in water that cold. Incredible - thank you.

They say it's rare, but who really knows? Not too many photographers are underwater trying to photograph such events.

Interesting - and yeah, you do wonder how many people would risk the depths to photograph this. Maybe when we venture into the deep reaches of space, other creatures will be filming US (or worse!). Thanks MW.
