PRICE REDUCTION!

I have the Sigma 24-105 f4 DG lens that I would like to sell.

The Sigma has only been used for about 200 photos, and is in excellent, like new, condition. It's complete with the box, and all papers, lens and back cover, carrying case and paperwork.

As I really wanted something with more range, I ended up purchasing the Tamron 16-300, so the Sigma has been sitting in the closet.

I purchased the Sigma new for $899.00. And will be willing to sell it for $600.00. I have checked online, and the cheapest I was able to find a used Sigma for (through Amazon) was $799.00.

This lens has excellent reviews, and is selling at B&H, Amazon, and Adroama for $899.00.

PayPal only, and you pay shipping.

Be patient Lauren.

The reason you are have difficulty selling it is because it is a canon mount. There are literally hundreds of Canon 24-105 lenses out there for sale between $550 and $620. This is because Canon has sold them as "kit" lenses with the 6D and 5D3. So people buy the kits and then sell the brand new lens to defray the cost of their camera.

If this were a Nikon mount it would already be gone, because it IS and excellent lens.

Have you tried eBay?

Thanks ptcanon3ti, I never thought of that.

No, I haven't tried ebay, as I have a problem with their 10% fees, and absolutely no protection for the seller. If no one here is interested, I'll probably just keep the lens. It is a wonderful lens, and reviews are every bit as good as the Canon L series, actually, the owner of the camera store I purchased it from encouraged me to purchase this lens over the Canon, as he felt it was sharper.

Thanks again, Lauren

Maybe you could separate the filter and sell that apart from the lens and recoup some money for that.

Here is a copy/paste from a for sale ad on another forum to which I belong:

For sale is a BRAND NEW Canon 24-105 f/4L IS USM Lens.

The lens is from a Canon 6D kit and has never been used or opened from the box.

I will include a copy of the original purchase receipt from Best Buy for warranty purposes as well as the blank North American warranty card.

Again this lens is NEW and from an authorized dealer.

Asking $630 paypal and shipped anywhere in North America.

I am also open to reasonable offers and trades.

Please PM for further details.

Pictures not included since this is a BRAND NEW lens and hasn't been taken out of the box.

Wow! I wish I had seen something like that before I bought the Sigma. No wonder no one seems to be interested. Oh well, it looks like I'll need to take it out once in a while, just to keep the dust off of it. :)
