Here's something you don't see everyday: Rainbow spray from the waves. Please download this one.
The waves are white, the water is an unreal shade of blue(this is not a bad thing), and the rainbow colors make me wonder why I left California.
Oh yeah, couldn't afford to live there anymore. That, and the fact that the new reality affords us the luxury to sit on 7000 sq/ft of building(s) without the stress of having it produce an income. Property taxes are about $350 per year.
We do miss trees and the ocean though, that will never change.
Thank you for the mini fix Brent.

Another beautiful shot Brent and outstanding on the download.
Thanks for posting.
Oh MAN! I'm glad you were there Brent. I lived in Hawaii for three years and never saw this happen on the ocean.
But then, we had "liquid sunshine" complete with rainbows. It would be sunny on the south end of Oahu, but the prevailing westerly winds were so strong on the "windward" side of the island, the rain would be blown over the mountains and fall in our sun-drenched back yards. It was quite wonderful to behold.

Neat! Nice capture!
Thanks a lot Moxie. Sometimes you get lucky! It's rare for the offshore winds to hit our beaches but when they do, the waves are usually hollow.
