Advanced Green Screen Keying in After Effects

This one's for my videographers out there...

After months of battling with settings, I've come up with a method for green screen keying (removal) using only built-in After Effects effects. You still want to do your best to remove wrinkles and light the screen evenly, but you'll still get decent results in less than optimal conditions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woZflhiwJ6Y

If you prefer written instructions, check us out on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=199192833510507

To see this method in action, check out our Matrix-style video that we filmed over a year ago with a green sheet thumb-tacked to the wall and lit with only a single overhead light! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATrYYpKBYdI

Let me know if it's helpful to you!

Yeah, the keying process is a bit complicated, but it really opens the doors for what you can do in a video.

Yeah, that was a mistake on my part. It's from the same clip. I just exported the frames a month earlier than the final one. It was originally going to just use Selective Color, but then there were other things I wanted to fix, so I kept working on it and then didn't export the same exact frame. If you watch the video, you'll see there's no trickery afoot. Or I can dig up the same exact frame.
