Saw a hawk out the window this morning and stepped outside to get a few shots of it. It seemed to be keeping an eye on four squirrels that were playing out back. :wink:

The hawks I see only leave feathers near my bird feeder out back. Guess there is an all day stint out back coming up.

I did just happen to look out a back window one day and see an air strike of a young red tail getting a morning dove that was just taking off. I know it was a dove because I went out and looked at the feathers on the ground after he was gone. :)

I saw him (or her) take off before breakfast though. Guess he got tired of waiting for them to move out of the trees and shrubs where he could get a shot at one of them.
