White Balance and Smog

What White Balance preset would be used
for a smoggy day? Some days the smog
has a browish tint to it. But some times it
just looks like the inside of a worm.
So would Smog even effect the white balance?
Thank you for your help

I really wouldn't worry to much about white balance to much, I normally just keep my camera on cloudy white balance and only change it for shooting inside and have been happy with my results. If you shoot in raw format I recommend setting it to anything but auto white balance and you can then adjust all the images as a group in pp to give you the warmth or coolness you desire.

What is the downside to auto white balance when shooting in RAW?

If you are shooting raw, it makes no difference what the WB is set at.
