Corel Paint shop 4x with Aftershot Pro ooorrr Photoshop and lightroom?

Alot of buzz on the internet from users that the new corel program is as good as the photoshop. Thoughts, comments, reviews, opinions, experiences . . . . .

I have X3 and I don't know about X4. If X4 it is not a totally different product I would spend the extra money on Photoshop. I have Photoshop CS5.1

I have used all 4 programs but it all really boils down to the features you want and its compatibility to the picture file format and your computer.

I have Aftershot Pro and X4. They are both excellent, especially for the money. I have used Photoshop, it is the gold standard. Between Aftershot and LR, I like Aftershot a bit better.

I am curious about Aftershot and was thinking about getting it when Corel first acquired it. Corel doesn't really have enough information about it that I could find to convince me to buy it. So when Lightroom went on sale it got it instead. Plus Nik software works with Lightroom and that was another deciding factor for me. Not sure if Aftershot does or not.
Corel has some good products but they seam to be a little slow when it comes to promoting them.
