AF 70-300 mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 includes both lens caps and Tamron lens hood. I bought this lens from another member quite a while back, maybe 2013 and have enjoyed using it for my shorter telephoto shots. I bought a longer lens though so don't use this anymore. I have included a shot I took with this lens on my Nikon D5200, and this lens will work on those cameras that don't have the internal focusing motor.

How is the AF speed? Is the AF motor very noisy? ( I have a comparable Sigma that the AF motor is VERY loud) Any major problem with CA?

Thanks.

It is not super quick nor super quiet. But it was quick enough for me to take quite a few very nice wildlife shots over the past couple of years and not noisy enough to scare anything off. In very bright light with lots of contrast, there is CA, but I can correct it in LR without a problem.

Thanks for the quick, informative reply. I need to think on this. I mainly use this type lens for the 1:2 macro setting.
