I might consider parting with my D5200 for $500 + shipping. A Nikon refurb recently purchased prior to price breaks on D7000/7100s. It's in excellent condition, provided it is w/i your range.

That is a little more than I wanted to spend,that is why I am looking for a 5100.I sold mine here when I purchased my 7100 & I am so sorry I didn't hang on to it.Thanks anyway!

That is more like the price I wanted,around $200.I checked on eBay but I am a little afraid to trust anyone there with a used camera.Thanks for the information,I will go check out Amazon.

Aside from other logical considerations, you should not have problems on eBay.

Use the rule I use.....

over 200 feedbacks, PLUS,
100% positive. (my own rule is minimum 99.5% feedback or no bids from me)

I've bought and sold on eBay for over 15 years, AND I teach eBay at the local Community College Community Ed program, once a month. Just had my most recent class this last Saturday.

No better price venue than eBay used wisely, plus eBay Safe Harbor for filing grievances.

Have not lost a dime there in a decade and a half. My specialty or niche is "film" cameras.

Oh,I love eBay but I have never purchased anything used.The items I have purchased have always been new in sealed boxes.Thanks for the info I will keep it in mind.I haven't heard back from the two gentlemen here who were thinking about selling theirs.I guess I'll go back to eBay again!
