Many of you have an extra tripod or two that are seldom, if ever, used. I had such an item: a Vivitar that was purchased some time ago. Here you will see the practical use I've made of it. Note the clothes hanger, elevation rod used to drape a pair of pants, a hat, umbrella, and a little red can for holding keys, wallet, glasses, condoms, etc. There's even room for a camera!
Tripod as Valet and Clothes Hander
I use mine as an HD antenna holder, when I need to adjust the TV.

So funny! If I tried that, my wife would use that against me as a colonoscopy tool.

Your traveling one works well as a clothes drying rack in hotel rooms when you need to wash out a few things, just hook the room's hangers wherever they fit for extra space.
