Architect1776 Loc: In my mind

Have loved taking photos for over 50 years now. Retired from the Army after receiving wounds that left both arms nearly unuseable held together with steel plates. One leg held together the same way and still picking steel pieces out of my face and neck.
Studied Architecture after discharge and obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture degree. Have my own business and am licensed to practice in over 30 states.
Photography is a hobby. I do not try to get mixed up in trivia unless it is relevant to making better photos. I do it because I love to do it. I have been internationally published and won a few awards for my work but not that I pursue this it just came to me. I currently have a Canon 7D with several lenses and accessories. I am friendly but do not let others put me down or say rude things without comming back on them.

By your works shall you be known. Not everyone here likes everything that is posted, and some are fairly vocal about it. Most are friendly, but there are exceptions, as there are anywhere. Welcome aboard Army. Bob Yankle, LCDR (USN, Ret.)

You're a man after my own heart. Anyone who uses the proper term "ships" for a Naval vessel rather than "boats" is all right by me.

Good for you! The Master of Architecture is impressive, as your attitude of self-respect. I like that you shoot just because you love it.

Welcome to UHH, Architect1776, from another Pennsylvanian! And thank you so much for your service! Our son is in the Navy and it looks like he and his family will be heading for Japan. He's been in 18 years so far. I'm looking forward to seeing you photos!

Once the weather warms up. It has been a bit cold here lately. Putting energy into painting bedrooms for the winter projects.
