Any suggestions on Camera Straps? I own a Canon 7D and of course, the strap identifies the camera. I love wildlife shooting, and hiking with my camera. Looking for something safe, secure and comfortable.

I have an Op Tech sling that I like.

I believe MT Shooter carries these and would be able to give you all the info you need.

Just got the OPTECH sling, used it yesterday for first time. I really liked it. No pressure on my neck or back. Straps are all adjustable so you can get the best fit for you. Waiting for the mail to bring me the Lens and Uni Loops to use with my Sigma 150-500 Lens. I had questions about which strap/sling to get for my camera & lenses. At Hoggers suggestions I emailed OPTECH and they answered quickly via email with the best options for my gear.

They work for me. And I sometimes have a very heavy lens attached to my 60D.

Black Rapid.

I use the double sling which can be broken down into two individual left/right slings. I also love the fact they attach to the tripod 1/4 20 thread. other adapters allow quick change between acra style tripod mount and the sling.

Most comfortable straps on the market, and very inexpensive too! And they attach to the strap lugs as the camera manufacturers designed them that way.

I just picked up the Optech Dual harness, which I will be using to carry a D810 & 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII

I must be old fashioned. Both my Alpha 850 & HX400 have Tamrac N-45 straps on them. The padded suede section in the middle makes them very comfortable for carrying a body with a long lens.

Thanks so much everyone. I think I will get the OpTec pro with the longer straps.
Appreciate all the input.

I prefer the custom slr straps. I tried both black rapid and opp tech. I have arthritis in my neck and shoulders and I find them to be the most comfortable to me. And I like how customizable the custom straps are. But they are expensive
