This is the West Spanish Peak in southern Colorado. Along with the East Spanish Peak, these mountains have served as landmarks for travels since ... Well, they've been there awhile anyway.
No post processing. Just straight from the Sony bridge camera in JPEG.
Well done, very good photo.
I like the way that you caught the light. Nicely done.
Thanks to both.
Someone said I needed to ask for C&C. Forgot to do that.

Very nice
[quote=cucharared]I checked the histogram and both the brightness and dark are off a bit. Can I show you the data and what I did? David

With your permission only and for discussion only. My tweaks did not fix it all but an improvement. I brought the arrow on the left and right in. David
Good capture of the light and mood.
Meives - thanks. I'd like to be able to say something like, "Cool, so that's what it takes", but in reality it's going to take me awhile to process what you just did. I guess I'm so ignorant on post processing that right now all I can see is that the photo is more alive with your edit. I've only recently begun to even try to understand the histogram and only know the very basics about it. I didn't have a clue what it was for when I took the photo.
I appreciate your efforts and time.

There is nothing on the HOG that I enjoy more than discussions like this. PM me anytime. Or just post a question. I have learned so much here. Many may be ahead of you, but there are more behind! Enjoy your quest. David

Thank you for letting me ply. In Photoshop if you press Control-L it will show the histogram. I learned that when Photoshop was DOS. David
