Nice shots, no offense but, better you than me

Chop it up and deep-fry it. I swear, it tastes like chicken if done right.

Heh-heh! I like it.
And I'm totally serious. Sometime ago (late teens I think) I went to my sisters house and she handed me a fork with a cube of something that was lightly breaded with a flour, salt, and pepper mixture just like Mom used to fry her chicken in and neglected to tell me what it was until after I swallowed it. It had a texture and flavor so much like chicken that to this day I still tell people that it has been the only thing in 50+ years that someone had said tasted like chicken that actually did.
I hope that makes sense. I'm 10 1/2 hours into a 12 hour shift and the brain is getting tired.
Only a true photographer would grab a camera in such cases!

In my long career as a nurse I spent 11 years working in Emergency Rooms. I saw 6 rattlesnake bites during that time. People say, oh, the bites are rarely fatal, and yes, that's true. But the nerve and tissue damage are often debilitating, and the bites can be excruciating. Most of the bites I saw were with people messing with the snakes, and the person was usually intoxicated. The Navajos used to tell me that people got bit a lot picking corn in the fall. . . that the snakes would climb the corn stalks to drink the dew that condensed on the leaves. I thought this was really unlikely until I saw an elderly Navajo woman who'd been bitten on the hand. . . while picking corn. I know I never want to get bitten!

Why not just eat chicken? It's much cheaper in the store, and much less dangerous to catch.
