First shots with Tamron 150-600mm

Canon 5DM3, hand held in my yard. 600mm 1:1 crop (or more). I'm not happy yet, more testing to come. Any comments to improve welcome.

Good first time shots Fullframe - I've had the Tamron since October and am really enjoying it. FYI, I'm getting my best, sharpest shots with it locked at 400mm (428mm actually) to about 525mm. Getting some nice shots at 600mm but slightly soft. Regis has done some fantastic work with the Tamron at 600.

Good detail in the birds. I think this is very good for hand held.

Nice shots Fullframe... I had a little trouble with my Tamron at first until I got use too it... take a look at the Moon shot that I took with my Tamron astro setup... scroll down to the second Moon photo, not the Moon chart, and check out the "Download View"... it was taken with my Tamron 150-600mm and two stacked Kenko Pro 300 series TCs attached (1.4x + 2.0x)... click on the link below...
