Recently a Nikon repair shop in Jacksonville, Fl was posted. I need that info. I copied, but can't find.

Interesting, they have my lens right now. When I went to the Nikon site for repair they only posted two addresses. Mine went to Long Island, being on the East Coast.

neither Nikon or Canon repairs equipment. they have farmed all repairs out to "certified" repair centers. these are independent contractors.

When I went to Nikon Web Site, that was the address that was given to me to send it to on the East Coast and that is where my lens is right now.

Yes CRIS is good and fast. They repaired a sticky QR on my Manfrotto ball-head for me under warranty. Less than 10 day turn around.

OK, I'm "glazing over". Any way we can put this together showing Nikon factory vs "shops" so it can become a ready reference?

Is that where they land the boat? I have been in Tampa for 2.5 years now. Want to go to the party in Ybor and take pictures. Never get there.

The facts:
Nikon Coolpix cameras are repaired by Nikon authorized service centers. If you send your Coolpix to Nikon in NY or CA, their two factory repair centers, they are sent to a Nikon Authorized Repair Facility.
ALL NIKON DLSR's sent to nikon Repair in CA or Melville NY ARE REPAIRED BY NIKON factory repair. NIKON EMPLOYEES. SO Bobee you can relax your lens is being Repaired by Nikon, not by an authorized repair facility.
BTW Ybor City is great place, Cuban food, bars and if you love cigars you are in heaven
