sat. mornings -22 degs....i just had to get to the u.p. while heading acrossed the mighty mackinaw bridge i noticed several great lakes freighters stuck in the ice. and a ice breaker helping them out.. the wind was a howlin..lovely..!!! near blizzard conditions seem like the norm up there..no biggy..just do it.. snowy owls,deer, spotted many groups of pine grosbeaks..along the way..was a great day.. enjoy the pics and thanks for stopping and looking.. :wink: :D taken using a canon 6d..100-400mm..and 17-40mm.

Had to drink two cups of coffe to get through these.... Brrrrr! Excellent shots all but the bridge is special with the fog at the base and the beautiful sky above. :thumbup:
