It's a lot more impressive viewed large (4x or more), but also could use a bit of sharpening.

I have done B&W of fall colors a number of times in the past; however, after making the prints, I hand colored the prints. Even with the marvels of the digital age, I still like best the hand coloring of B&W prints.
Using the right materials, and once you learn how, the hand colored prints can be really quite beautiful. The posted image would make a wonderful hand colored print, showing the fall colors.
