Even a pretend one? Benny here, is 4 & 1/2.
He has me beat. I didn't own my first camera till I was 20.
I was nine years old, got a Brownie, but probably didn't look as cute as Benny.
I believe i was 7 and i had a kodak 110.
I was 10. It was a Sony point and shoot I think. Then it broke so I used my iPod camera, after that my photography mentor gave me his first DSLR camera, the Canon 20D. Now I have my own Canon 7D !!!! Love this camera!!!
Think he has spent too much time watching you
I was 10 and it was a Brownie 127 that served me well for 10 years

I thought that was you for a minute.:):) My first out was a Brownie Hawkeye with a flash!!!!! I think I was 6. I did a lot of yard work around the neighbor hood to get film and bulbs.:)

My first was a Brownie Hawkeye given to me for my 19th birthday.
Around 12 I think. My first pictures were of model airplanes that I would hang from a tee limb with sewing thread. The thread did not show, so it looked like I was shooting real planes.
Well, tainkc, I'm so old I don't remember for sure but I was around twelve and it was a Kodak Brownie. On a lighter note that young man spends entirely to much time around his grandfather, poor boy probably wouldn't even reconize him without his camera over his face. ;)
I got mine at 9--a Hopalong Cassidy box camera. I still have it, and it still works, 63 years later.

17, can't believe it was 53 years ago, I was never that adorable however. The camera was a Samoca range finder. Never heard of the maker, before or since.
Man that's a nice flip out LCD, never seen one quite like it. Fun set too. I was about 8 and my Grandma got me a Kodak Brownie with her stash of S & H green stamps.
