Hi all,
I have been taking photographs since I was seven years old. My first camera was a Kodak Pony. Since then I have shot with a Kodak Instamatic, Polaroid, Kowa SET, Konica Autoreflex, Konica, Canon Point & Shoots, Nikon 8800, Nikon D80, D90, P510. I am still using the D90 as my primary camera, backed up by the P510. Was thinking of getting the SonyA6000 as another back up bur rumors of a Nikon D7200 and a Sony A7000 are keeping my money in the wallet right now.
I began selling photographs at arts & crafts shows in 2007 and have been honored to have been juried into many shows in PA, NY and NJ. Now I concentrate on shows in PA, but NY may be seeing my in 2016.
My work is presented on
www.photoartbydan.comComments and/or criticism is always welcomed. Make the best of this day.

Welcome Daniel - and I also shot Nikon until recently, as my mirrorless A6000 -lighter, more compact, simple, and aggressive - has been whooping it; love it and the glass beats Nikon by a mile. Price was less than $800 and won't go back. Post when you can, and you'll note some other Lancaster folks on the forum!!
Hi! Daniel...me from Lebanon, Pa.

Welcome to the HOG. Clicking on "store original" will allow camera data to help us give better advise. You will only get advice if you ask every time. No one will remember this greeting. If you don't ask for C & C you will get a bunch of "That's nice" David
Welcome, Daniel, from another Pennsylvanian! Lancaster is one of our favorite places and we get out there as often as we can..only an hour away! Sounds like you're doing very well with your photography! I think you'll enjoy it here.
PS..I just looked at the pictures on your site and they are amazing! I'm thinking I might recognize a few places, like the home made rootbeer, which we tried and didn't care for, and the covered bridges, and could that be the Strasburg RR? We a member here who lives in Strasburg! Enjoy!
Greetings Daniel, and welcome to the UHH.
Welcome to UHH Daniel, glad you joined us.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. Now, if only the weather will get warmer.
Many of the train photos are from the Strasburg Railroad...and thank you for your kind comments.
