Some of my better Bald Eagle close-ups from yesterday.

It was a fairly sunny, but cold day and the Bald Eagles were out doing their thing. The Eagles were about 49 yards away. 3 of the 4 photos were taken using the 600mm setting and the other one was at 500mm. These were hand held shots. Please try the downloads.

Thank you, cosmo54. This is one of the few areas in the USA where you can get close to a hundred feet or so to the Bald Eagles.

I really like the setting with the Eagle on these! The tree makes for nice composition!

Thank you, Beth. We have a lot of pine trees there where the eagles land on which are on the lake's edge where they can keep an eye on a nearby fish.
