I wish to take photos in the infrared and ultra violet parts ofthe spectrum. Any camera recommendations?

That usually requires a modification of an existing digital camera. If you have an old film camera you can use infrared film if it's still made. I don't know about ultraviolet.

I have an old Canon G2 that I bought on ebay a while back. It had been converted for infrared. Here is a link to one of the companies that sells converted cameras.

Pick your camera, have it converted and go have fun. It's a whole new world. I use a converted Canon 30D.

If you don't like to spend some $ for filters, or converting a camera for IR, you can achieve the same thing in PP (like a couple of minutes in ACR), just a thought.
