Thanks, this was the Roger Clements return, he came back in June and I spent big bucks to get a good seat and snuck my 100-400 lens in. Cameras have come a long way since then especially in low light situations, my attempts were not that good with action.

Forgive my dumb question, but you're no longer allowed to bring a long lens into a ball park?

This was 2006 and they were pretty strict then in Houston, I have not tried lately but some places do restrict what size, or, at least, they did in Houston at one point in time.

Some parks restrict photography equipment some embrace it. I shoot at AT&T Park during the season (over 40 games) and enjoy doing it. I usually use my Canon 100-400 or Tamron 150-600 with no issues getting it in the park.

Nice shot of a great player. I've seen his son play twice in a summer collegiate league - hit for the cycle the first time.

Cool shots. Thought you might like to see Biggio scouting report that was a part of an exhibit in Cooperstown already this past fall when I was there. Pardon if you have been there you would have seen this.

Thanks, had not seen it. I was fortunate to be behind home plate when he got his 3000th hit, we did not think it would happen that night but it did.

Awesome! I missed that one. My son was there somewhere. Wow! He is a great choice for our first in the hall. Even if it did take time.
