As quoted by Arnie Johnson from the TV show Laugh In "Vely intelestying"
Not much of a surprise, I picked #2 as the Tamron right away. #3 surprises me being the L though, its pretty washed out.
i'm not surprised. people pooh-pooh Tamron lenses, but my favorite lens is a Tamron SP24-135 f3.5-5.6. it'd an old design from the days of film cameras, and is no longer made, but it's a VERY good lens! doesn't have IS, doesn't have an ultrasonic motor, kinda klunky in some respects, but it's as clear and sharp as the 24-105L, and only cost me $400! on my Canon 5D, it produces excellent results, and most of my "money" shots have been taken with it.
