Painted Bunting Bird, a little closer this time.

Wish I had a prime lens when it comes to little birds like this, Had me crawling around to get closer. I think about as close as I can get. Now if they would sit Still in the shade and not move, for at least 1.5 seconds.

I have never seen one in the wild. What a beautiful bird.

Not sure if we're considered the tropics, but got this guy here in Central Florida, near the shoreline of Lake Istokopoga. Darn things are eating the seeds off a common weed down here.
