I grew up in South Dakota and have to agree with him - it is an accurate forecast for North Dakota :)

Stationed for three years at Grand Forks. Totally accurate forecast. We got 4 inches snow on the 4th of July my first year there, and my last year there, on my birthday of 10 August, we got snow flurries, and a skiff of snow on the ground. Never really warms up in NDak.
