You are still getting a tremendous amount of noise. I edited it the same way as previously and took the noise out. Try dropping the ISO towards 100 and see if that will help.

i actually like the noise like a grainy B/w it gives the photo some character and texture. but then again what do I know? i like lime jello with carrot shavings in it, and putting a large slice of sharp cheddar cheese on a out of the oven slice of apple pie!!!!!

Everyone has their own preferences. I am happy if I can get half of mine by my wife, so I am used to not always being right. Eventually it is either the photographer or the potential customer that is the judge.

i also like your edited version too, which puts the empatsis on the color. i just think the noise adds a little whipped cream and a cherry to the photo. why yes i am a foodie, how did you guess? lol

I'm not against noise in an image, but noise in a liquid shot? Doesn't do it for me. Not if there's going to be any subtlety in the shot, that is.

I've done this before, the reason of high ISO is you need the shutter speed. He has to increase the light first.
