A friend of mine and I are challenging each other to take at least one photo per day, and upload it to a Google+ album. The photo must be taken and uploaded on the day it is due. Well, today is day three of the challenge, and since I'm on-call for work, I can't go very far. I was walking around the back yard, shooting flowers, weeds, faded wood, rusty gate hinges (got to get those cleaned up), anything to use, when I spotted this hawk perched on top of my neighbor's roof. I quickly went in the house, put the 100-400mm lens on the T3i, and managed to get four decent shots of him before he flew away. This is the one I consider the best.

A beauty! And I like the way you composed the shot. Possibly lighten a bit around the eye/face?
