My favorite is the Lays Classic. The ones I really loved were "State Line Potato Chips". They went out of business many years ago and just recently started showing up in my neighborhood stores. They do not have the same flavor. It is obvious they are in name only and just use the Logo.
"Charles Chips" is another brand I haven't seen in a while. They used to be delivered door to door and were packaged in a big round tin container.
The chip companies like the soda companies seem to be going through a flavor war on who can come out with the new miracle flavor. It seems that they are running out of ideas and the newest flavor is worse than the last.
Anyone care for a bowl of candied onion ice cream with real artificial garlic morsels??? LOL
