We are currently in Yuma, Arizona. Yesterday I went for a walk in a wash along a golf course to see if I could find some birds to practice shooting. I hand held and used the manual focus. I do have a tripod/monopod but opted to go hand held. Any and all input appreciated. I have No idea what these birds are and spent quite a bit of time online trying to find out. Help.....

Thank you so much. Now I can name my photographs instead of calling them Unknown Bird 1, 2, 3 etc. I plan on getting out again as I also saw some quail and roadrunners but they were too quick for me.
