So You Think You Can Dance? Humpback whale picture taken 8/12/2014 in Juneau, Alaska on a whale watching tour. This whale was Identified from the patterns on the tail as being a female named Maggie, was approximately 2 years old and has birthed a calf. Nikon D3300, VR 55-300mm F4.5-5.6G, Shot at 300mm, f5.6, 1/500s ISO 200. She put on quite a unusual display, repeatedly tail slapping the water for about 3 minutes.
