I could only get a picture to upload on my Avatar in my prolife. by going to my profile then scroll down to avatar. Then browse your pictures for the one you want to set to your avatar. Click it the click the upload button and that should get that set for you.

I think I saw where someone answered this question the other day by saying that your pics have to be re-sized to no more than 600 pixels wide or they won't upload.

Once you have your pics sized right, click on one of the "forum" email messages. Then click on the link that takes you to someone's post or thread. Once there, go up to the top and click on "Create New Topic." That'll open up an editor that will let you write what you want to say and below that you are given an opportunity to select the images you want to post, one at a time. Click on the "Choose File" button and it'll open up a screen that will allow you to go to the folder in your computer where you have your pics stored. Click on a pic and then on "Open" and it'll be listed out to the right of the "Choose File" button and you'll have an opportunity to send the attachment to the forum. You can repeat that twice more for a limit of three.

If you need more help, let us know.

I don't mean to treat you as a greenhorn but, for the sake of brevity rather than ask where you are in all of this, and then bounce back and forth, let me tell you what I like to do. I call in a file, jpg, resize it and save it back with an "a" tacked onto the back of the file name that it came out of the camera with, e.g., img_6327, and I save it back as img_6327a. That way you retain the original and have your the resized copy.

I'll certainly be watching for your posts and tell you what I think. There's lots of folks in here who will give you all the help they can in the way of critique and there's many who know this stuff a lot better'n me so if they jump in and do their thing I might not have any criticism but will let you know that I agree with what they've said. Deal? Welcome to the fracas. You should enjoy the forum.

I've been seeing on here several comments by various members that they're having trouble sending pics with Internet Explorer, several versions, and in some cases even Firefox. I've read where some of those downloaded and installed Google Chrome and had success. What are you using as a browser? If it's not Chrome, go to Google, download Chrome, and install it. Then give it a try. If you are using Chrome, let me know and I'll see if I can step you through it.

One thing I know you can't do is "review" your pics after you have selected them. If you do that your pics become unattached and you have to choose them all over again. Could that be your problem?
