You can't. Nikon controls the price of all it's products through a new, as of last year, arrangement with their dealers. The price is the same everywhere.. You should buy from your local brick and mortar store. The only discount is occasional Nikon sales of combined products. This is good for them and us.

I purchase my Nikon products through a local camera store that caters to students and professional photographers. They make sure you try the lens out at the store on either your camera or one they have in the store that is identical to yours. They make sure that the purchases that you make is exactly what you want. Guess what they are the same price as the big chains but with great service

There are several people on this site selling lens, post what you are looking for and see what you get for a response. Also check the classified post on your daily UHH.
Versa Deals and Digital Hunter have good prices.

Some internet sites may quote rediculously low prices for Nikon products, but then you find it's either a "Bait & Switch" scam or the item is "Gray Market" and is not warrenty honored in the USA by Nikon. Buyer beware. For MSRP products, the local brick and mortar or reputable mailorder houses are always the best bet. My suggestion is to look for either Nikon supported sales and discounts or go for "Factory Refurbished" items if you want to save a few bucks, but it's always a good idea to confer with your local photo pro shop to see if the item is what you really need and want. Only there can you get a "try it and buy it" demonstration of any product.

Well, I found a website that seems all the camera's and lenses is almost half the prices as everywhere else. it is: www.engoen.com. Is anybody ordered anything from this site. I do not know why the price there is so cheap.

cause they are a ripoff. check resellersratings.com they are either using bait and switch or they are selling camera only. you want the batteries, the manual, the cords the neck strap that is all extra. they will also try and sell you an overp\riced no name warranty . by the time you are done you spent more than if you bought from a LEGITIMATE camera store like adorama, b+hphoto, abes of maine, or even ritz. IF IT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS. basically it is illegal by federal law for companies like gm to sell say silverado pick ups to a dealer that seels 300 cars a month for less than selling to a dealer who sells 50. im sure it applies to other industries as well. with similar costs all stores should come in within a couple hundred of each other on say a d-4. any site that has a huge discount is either moving stolen goods, grey market or a scam. if you tell them you only want the camera, it will be out of stock untill you either upgrade to a more expensive one, or you agree to all the extras. buyer beware there are alot of scam artists out there preying on gulliable people who want to buy cadillacs at kia prices.

Make sure you check any and all sites if they are not the sites mentioned on this site Like B&H, KEH, Adoramma, Calmut etc
before you buy anything where you are expending large amounts of cash.

if you come across a retailer you don't know, go to resellersratings.com to check em out. you can not go wrong by buying from adorama, b+hPhoto, or known camera store chains like calumet ritz or roberts.
