Well they are magnificent trees for sure and nice images if you like black and white.

I believe the bristlecone pine is the oldest living tree. I see she has one in the full collection. Some are over 10,000 years old. It didn't give the ages of the ones she photographed. One place to see them is in Great Basin National Park on the NV/UT border. I think there are also some in CA. They live up high so it can take some work to get to them.

IMHO the coastal redwoods are the most impressive trees. But I find them difficult to photograph. I don't know if her General Sherman is one of them or a Sequoia...also impressive things.

I don't wish to detract from her great images and appreciate the link. Just wanted to put the headline in perspective.
