As much as I love snowy scenes and Ice on trees and wires, I hope we stay warm. We will have a low of 10 tonight around midnight. Happy New Years to All

I love no.1. Sure does look cold there, wondering what part of Arizona is Payson.

Looks like you're about an hr & 1/2 away from Surprise. We are familiar with where that area is. It's very cold up here in Western WA but very sunny. I'm having to turn on the utility light on at night for the hummer feeder to keep their food from freezing.

Still coming down - there is probably 6" on the ground now.

Our hummers flew the coop quite a while ago!

Yes, about an hour or two to Surprise. We have family in Gilbert and Chandler and it takes a little over an hour to get there. But not today - accident on the 87 has traffic at a standstill. I'm happy to stay home with a hot cup of coffee and Kahlua.

Good night to stay home and leave the roads to the crazy people.

Thank you!

Payson is practically smack in the middle of Arizona at 5,000 feet. Small town in the mountains. Summers are heavenly and we rarely get snow. This is a real treat!

Thanks. We drove around Arizona a few years ago, a wonderful experience for us Aussies. Didn't get to Payson. Wouldn have loved to see snow but we were there in October.

I hope you enjoyed your visit to our beautiful state. I would love to visit Oz - perhaps someday. I especially would like to see the Great Barrier Reef and Melbourne, the Sydney Opera House...so many wonders!
