Been a long 2014. Currently facing knee-surgery..soon as the "red-tape" is cut. Is it 2015 yet??
Not sure how many know of Ozzi's story. Ozzi, a Congo African Grey, was stolen, tortured & killed in mid-2014 in Alberta Canada. His 3 abusers & killers(teenagers) got a "slap-on-the-wrist".
As a memerorial for this beloved parrot, I'm creating an image, but need some input & advice. (Yes, I have the owner's permission to edit, and can verify if needed)
My question then, is how to embed the url/hyperlink in the photo, making it "live"? Have seen it done, just not sure how. If someone knows how & can do, it would be appreciated. Please & Thanks.

Eliminate "His abusers & got a slap on the wrist". It is too overt and does not give the viewer anything to think about and they simply forget about it. You want the viewer to walk away wondering, "What was all that about?". Then the curiosity sets in.
Got it. Know how to create the "live" link?

Well, I just shot my wad on my level of expertise. I am sure there is some on out here who knows what to do.
You have to create a "Hot Spot" as in Adobe Fireworks and link the URL to the hot spot...also you can do it using the Slice tool in PS.
Here is a link to get you going....
http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-create-hyperlinks-in-fireworks-cs5.htmlYou can try searching "creating Hyperlinks in XXX" other software as well...if you have a problem, let me know...but I won't be able to help you till the weekend.
I assume you are putting this onto a web page yes?

humm, wondering, do search systems allow "wild cards"?
Google does not .. well not quite... But do a Google search for "using wildcards in Google search" and you will learn a lot about how to search effectively. Perhaps also how to get hyperlinks to show up in searches.
Back to posted question on links... good discussion here:

Are you posting this on UHH or on your website? Assuming the image is at
http://yourwebsite.com/parrot.jpg and the page you want to go to is at
http://yourwebsite.com/parrot.html, here's a way to do it. (I had to post this as an image to preserve the angle and square brackets without getting the UHH parser confused. Click on the download button to see the full size image which will be more legible).
