Camera settings displayed on frame?

This may have been discussed already but I searched and couldn't find it. Do any of the systems record and display the camera settings on the frame for future reference and analysis?

FredB Loc: A little below the Mason-Dixon line.
 
Not "On the frame", but all DSLRs record EXIF information along with the image, and some P/P programs can display THAT on an image.

O.K. I don't have any experience with DSLR yet. I've been shooting a Sony NEX 5. I'll check this out the next time I'm at the camera shop.

A lot of the PS camera have the same data.

Isn't that the same as "properties"?

This Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, ACDsee, PhotoMechanic and many more programs can read metadata. This plus keywords you enter plus a lot more are stored in the metadata.This is from ACDsee:

If you run windows try pie
http://www.picmeta.com/download.htm

will tell you more than you expect from the exif
