Big Cypress. The sound of a gator crunching on his meal is like the sound of a car hitting a wall at 2 miles an hour. Sort of a dull crunch, but very audible in the quite swamp. Their jaws are extremely powerful. This guy was about 10'. That is why it's a good idea not to feed or tease them. The are very fast and powerful. Please try the download

Thanks so much angler, so glad you enjoyed, always appreciate your looking and kind comment. Most of the time they are quite docile and will shy away, but when confronted and teased they can be very dangerous.

You live in a great area for nature photography. I read Killing Mr Watson featuring the chocoluski (excuse spelling) store before arriving, and loved using the book as a tour guide. I wish they had left more of the Watson plantation but the big iron pot they did leave suggested many hour of slave labor in past years!

I've been enjoying your photos, keep it up!
