Bower SFD14S Digital Macro Ring Flash for Sony
Currently on sale at B & H for $86
I purchased this one new over a year ago and have never used it, so condition is new, without original packaging and price, including shipping, is $39 in USA, payment by PayPal.

Attaches to hot shoe; see photo at B & H Photo for details.
• Guide Number: 46 feet (50mm @ ISO 100)
• For Macro, Medical and Hobby Photography
• Compatible with Sony Alpha models A100, A200, A230, A290, A300, A330, SLT-A33, A350, A380, A390, A450, A500, A560, SLT-A55, SLT-A77, A550, A700, A850, A900 and others. A hot shoe adapter is required for some Sony Alpha models including A99, A7, A7r, A7s, A7II, A77II or A6000 and some NEX models
• EV exposure control that synchs with Sony Alpha SLR cameras

The Bower SFD14S Sony Ringlight Flash for Sony Alpha DSLR/DSLT cameras is a circular light source which delivers, evenly balanced, shadow less lighting ideal for macro, portraits without red eye, products, medical or technical applications. It has a Guide Number of 46 feet (14 meters) at ISO 100 and features full automatic TTL flash exposure control. When shooting at extremely short distances, relatively minor movement of lighting and subject results in relatively large changes of exposure. TTL metering eliminates the need for lengthy calculations of exposure, because the inherent loss of light at macro distances can automatically be calculated. The ringlight attaches directly to a lens with a 52mm filter size and by using the included adapter rings (55mm, 58mm, 62mm, & 67mm) it can fit a wide variety of other lenses.

Yep, reasonable choice, about the same as I paid. I am happy with mine also. It fits my need.

I always mod do-gadgets by hot glue or epoxy a string (black ribbon) from the body to the battery door. If you have ever lost one of the battery door covers, then you will know why!!

It is directly compatible with most A-mount, but not the new A77II, which changed the mount. It is compatible with some E-mount, but not all. An adapter, available from Ebay for about $12 or from B & H for about $20 can be used to allow mounting on Sony cameras without the different mount. See compatibility chart in my original post or see more detailed information on compatibility at the B & H sites below.

Go to the following link for a photo and more detailed information of the flash (copy the following and paste into your browser):

Go to the following link for information on an adapter if needed:

Hope that helps.

Actually, the adapter I referenced in my previous post is incorrect. The correct one is this:

Someone else has responded ahead of you and I am awaiting payment from them. If I have not heard back from them, by 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Dec 31, then I will contact you to see if you are still interested. If you don't hear back from me, then it was sold.

Thank you for your interest.

Paul
