I would like to talk about the difference between the two. To learn about both. To learn about what all the letters mean in the Nikon lens names. And to find which is better or if its just preferences.

Will Love to see how long this will go on.

Would love to here your thoughts on your camera.

Thank you.

Careful what you wish for!
You might find yourself having to sell that Canon gear to buy new Nikon gear! I know I did! And it was the best photographic move I have ever made!

I am open to anything. If it will help me make my documentary, or to further my photography. Tell me why you think Nikon is better?

Canon, if you're serious, I can only speak for myself. I'm a speed freak, I value it above all else.
I recently bought a 7dmkll along with a lot of other Canon users. The 7ll will shoot almost as well as a D4 but cost only $1800. And it has enough more reach that it will save you $10,000 in lenses.
I just used a 50mm f1.2 for a full week, it's an amazing lens.
My favorite sports lens is a 200mm f1.8. A very amazing and special lens indeed.
Canon, have ever shot either of those two lenses??
Well, if you shoot a Nikon...., you never will!!
Canon, that's why I shoot Canon. Your mileage may be different than mine. ;-)

I think here is a good article. Having shot both systems myself, I can honestly say that I have enjoyed both. The both make outstanding equipment. Although I am more partial to Canon. But that was a choice made after years of shooting both systems. In both film and Digital. I believe it truly boils down to personal preference and not sinking into name calling when someone likes a system you don't. :) And Like I said, I think both are a great choice. There are others however, that would argue that there are much better systems than both Canon and Nikon put together. To each their own.

Who cares?
No one has ever asked Leonardo what type of brush he used. The only thing that makes a difference is the image, and you are a pretty poor craftsman if you have to blame your camera for not getting a good picture.

Topcat, YOU don't have to care!!
And you worked with Leonardo and know that nobody asked him about his brushes?
I don't see anybody here blaming their equipment, only asking if it's possible to get better equipment.
I made my living for 20 years as a professional woodworker and can tell you for a fact that I was asked countless times what kind of tablesaw/blades I used, what chisels, what handplanes, scrapers and even what glues I used.
And if you are a craftsman and you don't think it matters, guess again.
Do you have any idea why they make $10,000 dollar lenses or even Hasselblads?
Because it doesn't matter to YOU, doesn't mean it doesn't matter!!! ;-)

They are more the same than different. You will NEVER be able to tell what camera took the picture by looking at the picture. Anyone telling you otherwise and defending his point of view is biased and not feeding you good info. Look at lenses that you are likely to buy. If you need something that is not offered by a mfgr, then look at another mfgr that does.
