I have a chance to buy this camera gear for $350 dollars is that a good price ?
Canon EOS 20D camera body
Canon 18-55mm lens
Canon 75-300mm Telephoto lens
Canon EF25 II Extension tube (for macro photography) with leather pouch
Set of 4 Polaroid close-up lens caps with pouch
All lens caps included
2 Batteries with battery charger (full disclosure: one battery can operate the camera for only ~20 min)
USB cable
Lowepro camera backpack (really loved this bag, better than my new one but selling as a bundle)
Original owner's manual
At only 8mp, the 20D is rather limited by today's standards. However, if $350 is your budget & you're just getting started in digital, the bundle looks pretty good. the close-up lenses aren't all that great especially when used with a zoom lens. Depending on the condition & age of the lenses, the package isn't bad. The extension tube should only be used with a macro lens.
This will be my first camera, was going to get a canon T5 or nikon 5200 but seen this one on craigs list and thought i would ask you guys.
Thats another one i seen, think I will go with new so I know I'm getting.

I think going with new is the right way to go, smitty716.
Best way to go plus a warranty and new technology

If it's in your budget, definately agree.

Personally I would pass. The price is not that good actually, for the items it includes. The 20D is an old discontinued model and repairs will cost more than the body is worth, and that if parts can even be found.
As already mentioned, a new setup would be well worth saving for, for three reasons, one is the warranty, second is the dependability, and third is for the major increase in image quality offered by the newest models and very reasonable cost.
Another option to look at would be refurbished gear from either Canon or Nikon. Good gear at a discount and it will still have a warranty on it too.
Good luck.
I think it's a pretty good deal, with the thought of using it to learn and then upgrade the body. It also depends on the shape of everything in the bundle and you will have to make that call. You are getting the bag, a couple of lenses some accessories and a chance to start out for the price.

Where will the seller be if you have a problem with this? Do not let a "good" deal seduce you. More than likely, you will regret it and just spend the money over again to do it right.
The Canon EOS 20D is quite an old model. For a little more money, you could get a Canon T5i or a Sony a58, both of which are quite good, modern cameras. I'd recommend the a58 over the T5i, but you may prefer Canon to Sony.
I would pass. Pretty old technology. If I remember correctly the 20 was introduced shortly after the debut of the Digital Rebel (300D) that was introduced in the fall of 2003.
The lenses are nothing to shout about either. The first 18-55 kit lens was pretty bad in my opinion.
Suggest passing on this particular bundle and looking on KEH website for a newer model (used). Same for lenses.
Bundled price not bad, but you are not getting a lot for the price either.
Actually, for a few more dollars, the Nikon D3300 is the best bang for the buck out there IMO. The sensor exceeds many higher priced models. Just a thought.

IMHO this is seriously overpriced for what you would be getting. For $150 fine, for $350 no way. For example, can you even get a new battery? (Sorry, I don't know the answer, but I'd do the research first. A camera with no battery is useless!)
