Many of those have been mentioned by UHH users.

If you use something else, even specialized, please post the name here or there so that I add them to the existing list.

I was surprised not to see Photomatix on the list since I've seen it mentioned many times here at UHH.

You should list SageLight (Version 4.2 is the latest). It is a reasonably priced 48 bit editor/processor that provides a free trial period. Many advanced features, yet fairly easy to use. Lots of help along the way.

Great that you are doing this!
What about Aperture?
Do you want other stuff like Topaz and Nik Silver Efex Pro?

It is not there as I intend to create a HDR software list as well as one for panorama creations. I listed only the generic PP, not the specialized ones.

I am considering the photo stacking software too but in all those case I first have to vulgarize the concepts so it takes some time as I need to first get in in my head, create the post and verify the info given...

Not forgotten, just on the back burner. If you feel it should be in the generic PP, tell me why and I will add it.

Your post made me create two more list:
MAC only
Cross over (software offered for both systems)
I added Aperture an NIK.
I did not add Topaz because this not an independent software but a collection of plug-ins for Photoshop.
Photoshop and other adobe product need a category of their own due to the numerous plug-ins.

Note: I am not a MAC user so I am an ignoramus here. If you (or anyone else) have decent titles to offer, please do so. Thank you.

I had it mentioned in the HDR section under a link that reviewed HDR software.
