I love mine. It's a keeper! It's not used as much as other lenses I have, but a great lens. I do see them on Craigslist from time to time, that might be another resource for you.

Just a week too late unfortunately. I had mine for about a year and sold it last week to KEH. It was in A+ perfect condition and saw about 1500-2000 actuations. Reason I sold it .... I didn't think it was sharp enough compared to the IQ of my other L lenses and I look to purchase the 4.0 version with IS soon. I read that the 4.0 is tack sharp.

Just received my 16-35 4.0 and it is tack sharp. you can see the difference between the 2.8 and 4.0 with the 4.0 winning out. If you don't need the 2.8 and since the 4.0 comes with IS, choose the 4.0. It even costs less.
