Hello and welcome!! Merry Christmas!!
Welcome to UHH. Merry Christmas. There are some here that still shoot film.
Welcome to the HOG - Enjoy.
I predominately shoot 35mm and 120mm film and do my own developing, mainly Black and White, which I prefer over colour.
Welcome to the Hog, Melodye. Left film many years ago for digital but as you have already found out there are some here who shoot film and many here do both film and digital. ;)

Welcome to the Force...You have entered an addictive land of truths, myths, fantasies, ghosts, goblins and good old fashioned advice (whether you want it or not)...
Seriously though - the folks here have lots of good advice and a couple of days of experience and are willing share what they can - don't hesitate to ask detailed questions, in fact, the more details, the more accurate the answer ;)
A couple of links to help you
navigate the forum and a couple of
resources to hopefully answer your questions or guide you in your quest...
Ask away and post away - looking forward to seeing some photos.

Not answering your question I know but I have been eyeing adding a Holga to play around with next time I order from B&H and would also like to know of other's experience with it.

Hi Melody,
Many people still shoot film. And many still like the larger formats. It hasn't completely gone away.
I shoot both film and digital. I've been shooting digital portraits for the last 9 years. I'll still do that, but I'll make 2015 a Holga year. I used Helga 120N film cameras for almost everyday for about a year. It's a fun camera to use. The surprising and quirky results you can get from this camera are fun to work and play with.
I'll be using both 35mm and 120 B&W film and processing it at home.
If you're looking at the Holga as a cheap way to get into medium format, go to keh.com and take a look at used Bronicas.
Holgas produce interesting results, but you may be disappointed if your goal is to just get into medium format for the quality images.
Medium format is nice but I'm also using 35mm. I have a 135 Holga for single frame 35mm shoots. I'm also using a 120N with a modification for 35mm film so I can shoot longer images using full film exposure.
I'll still be shooting digitally as well.
I love shooting Holga. Got hooked playing with this film media a few years ago. Needed to put it on hold for little while.
Now there's time to play again and want to expand on it.
