Waiting for Santa

SuperGoose is something of a scoffer, having grown past those years of childlike excitement and wonder at the whole idea of Santa and Christmas.

But as the time for Santa's annual visit draws near, I often find her waiting in her old position, the one she took as a kitten, staring at the fireplace, as if expecting someone.

Beautiful picture, did you use Topaz Glow for the effect?

Thanks, Bob. This is the time you want to suspend disbelief and return to Toyland, at least for a few days. We grow up fast enough, and a little Santa in our hearts does us all good.

Merry Christmas!

Thanks, Angler. I hope you get that train set, too, lol. The toys seem to get more expensive as we get older, don't they?

Appreciate your visit, and have a very Merry Christmas!

Thanks, Ron. Glad you liked it. In this case, no, I didn't use Glow--or Fractalius--tho Topaz programs are always part of my workflow. Adjust, Simplify, and Detail were the three I used for this one.

Merry Christmas!
