I have the Nikon 50mm f/1.8G AF-S it's on the way.... just got done ordering it ....hope I did a good choice...what are your thoughts??

Can't tell you about the Nikon, but I have a Cannon nifty fifty 1.8 and use it a lot and really like it. I'm sure you will also.

Great choice. I have the same lens in the Canon and find myself using it all the time. Have fun with it.

If it's anything like the Canon Nifty Fifty /1.8 you are going to love it...
Just a fun lens to have on the camera...I can use it all day and not get tired of it.

I just got my Nikon 50mm f/1.8 about a week ago. I used it this past weekend to shoot pictures of our first grandson and they look good (to me). I love this lens and the price was great 119.95 from B and H Photo.
