I have a Canon Mark II 5 D. And can't find the serial numbers on the Flash 580. Grip. Where are they or don't they have any.

Mine is on the bottom side of the flash housing just above the joint.

Look closely in good lighting, sometimes they're very hard to see.

The number wasn't there. It's a Canon BG-E6 Grip.

I find it very frustrating that the s/n is so small (on any electronic item). When you have to call for service, they always ask for it and I need a magnifying glass.

I just did a search and the answer is the Canon BG-E6 does not have a serial number.

I wouldn't call that inexpensive, would think that it would have a serial number.
